Just bought a Hagiwara 256mb CF card from the IT show. Initially it worked well (took some shots), then suddenly, after switching on, the camera shows "This card cannot be used"
It can't even be formatted. After switching OFF and ON a few times, the problem remained. I took out the card and put in a Sandisk card, which worked, then took out the Sandisk card and put back the Hagiwara card and then it worked!...But then i tried switching OFF and ON again many times, 4 out of 10 times the camera would show "This card cannot be used" Anyone out there face the same problem? ![]() |

How about formatting the card on a card reader first (use FAT16) than slot it into the camera to see if it reads?
