Default Slow Kit Lens

Hi,

I got a question here. I am quite happy with my kit lens with the exception that its has focusing prob when there is back light or when lighting condition is poor. I did not use the irritating onboard AF because i am using a FL-40 which do not have a AF. What do you guys suggest??? Get a better lens like Zuiko Digital 14-54mm F2.8-3.5 (does it focus faster???) or get a new Flash with AF assist???

Thanks in advance

Either one helps.

Obviously the both of them in tandem would be best.

Hmmm tough...

If you do mainly indoor stuff, get the flash.

In my opinion, the FL-50 should be the first one to get if you really want to use the AF in low light. That way I think you gain more, since you can use the AF in complete darkness up to a distance of about 8-9 meter. There are other advantages also having the FL-50 compared to FL-40, even some that you can use outdoors also, like Super FP mode, and of course, TTL. So I think that is a good investment.
