Overheard this interview between Tamal Mukherjee (938live) and Robert Wade, professor of political economy and development at the London School of Economics, about the future of the World Bank and the controversy surrounding its president Paul Wolfowitz.

Interesting stuff .. http://www.938live.sg/ListDetail.asp...ff=0&Catgrp=CA

This Wolfowitz guy campaing his presidency on "anti-corruption" & "tranparency", however, he authorised promotion and pay increment of his own girl friend when he took over in 2005.

He seems to be a security expert instead of economist, he played a key role in Bush war in Iraq. of course, his nomination to the world bank is also by our dear Mr. Bush..
