Hi Guys,
Recently, I notice stripe appearing during playback. I try using a cleaning tape to clean, but that does not solve the problem. |

Hi shark. Is it one stripe or a set of parallel stripes? If it's a whole set you should try the cleaner tape again, because that sounds like a dirty head. Single stripe I haven't come across yet.

Sounds like the head was dirty when that part of the tape was recorded. If you have used that tape a few times already, I suggest you don't use it for any more shooting. Could be shedding its coating.
I usually only use my tapes once for shooting, a couple of times for playback, and then I archive in a dry box in case I want to recapture in the future. |

I'm beginning to suspect the tape also, cos I have been using for at least 3 times. Maybe I should develop a habit like you, to use only once. |
