Default Sony nightshot mode

What is the diffierence between a Nightshot and a Nightshot Plus for Sony video camera? The sale staffs all giving me different answers. Anyone knows, please advise. Thanks

Well I'd been using sony since HI-8 days. The nightshot mode, the green filter is use to capture the images which are lighted up by the built-in infra-red light. Super nightshot mode, slows down the shutter speed to capture more light - it enhances the brightness but everthing is abit slow motion.

Super night shot mode..i think more strobie effect than slow motion..
as for night shot i guess ghost has answered you already.

off thread abit.. it reminds me many years back that the older sony camcorder with nite shot mode by adding some sort of filter can "see thru" fabric...
