In their dreams. At 40FPS AF will work like compact DC since there's not enough time for the mirror. The next move is likely to be a full-frame late of the year with Sony CCD and probably gradual upgrading of the primes to AFs.

How reliable is this news source? I checked both Nikon's and Fuji's websites for their latest press releases and see nothing of such.

confirm fake la. Think about it, the article says "nikon and fuji held a joint press conference at the empire state building.... ", both nikon and fuji are HUGE listed companies. If there really were a joint press conference announcing something as major as this the news would be all over bloomberg, cnn, cna, wsj by now.

Think back to when lenova bought over ibm's pc division. Remember the coverage that that got? It was on the front page of the business section of almost every paper. But now? Nothing except some obscure chinese website....

Btw, in case nobody realised it yet, the article mentions fujitsu instead of fujifilm. Fuji dslrs are made by fujifilm which is a listed company in itself and not owned by fujitsu.
