Hi,
I recently bought the Spyder calibrator for my monitor. However, after following instructions, my printouts still do not match my monitor. In fact my print outs are very much darker than the monitor. I am currently using a dell monitor as well as a Epson r2400 printer. Are there any courses in Singapore that teach u how to properly calibrate these equipment? Thanks |

Just like your monitor, you'll have to get the printer calibrated too. There's a thread with the printer and monitor calibration. Another photographer had the same issues with his printer. http://forums.clubsnap.org/showthread.php?t=270698 Best Wes |

Just to add on:
I know for a fact that GretagMacbeth has a package for profiling monitors and printers. Just give Bits & Bytes a call and i'm sure someone can answer your questions. Alternatively, pay them a visit. Last edited by Reflection; 23rd April 2007 at 12:08 PM. |

you should be able to find standard paper profiles for the different media sold by epson on one of their websites. download and install these. in photoshop (if you are using that) make sure you select the right output profile. you will also need to ensure that the epson printer driver is set to "no color management". cheers, satcat |
