Question What would price of D100 be like now?

Someone in US bought a 10D for US$1299 at Fry's. That's approx. S$2273 (x 1.75).

That is before their sales tax (is it 6.75% or 7.25%?). That said, as long as there is no 10D, D100's price will stay the same. After all, at the just-finished IT show, how many D60 or 10D did Canon sell? ZERO.

One (camera) in the hand is worth more than 100 another country.

They have ZERO stock of D60 and the 10D has not even arrived in SG, much less clear customs. What can they sell, empty promises? Like I had said, as long as the 10D has not arrived in volume and Canon has not published lots of ads, why would Nikon drop the price?

The 5700 though has totally sold out even the ex-stocks in the werehouse. Waiting time at the end of Sunday was about 2 weeks delivery...
