Default Trying some night shots.. Welcoming C&C

Learning to take pictures..
Taken with Fujufilm S9000 & .45 WA lens..
Advice needed... Thx

Hi there,

Just some thoughts for discussion.
Most of the shots look rather soft, did you use a tripod for these shots?

For #2, it looks like flaring from those street lights, so do take note and try to shift the position slightly to avoid it.

For #4 and #5, do take note of those unwanted subjects like the pole and breakwater in the frame and avoid them.

Do try to shoot more and see how you can improve. Cheerz.

Thank you for taking a look and the advices..

*Did not use tripod
*Yes, Will keep note about the street lights and the unwanted subjects.

Getting a good tripod is very important for night photography. You might need a remote trigger or use timer mode to avoid shake even on a tripod.

Getting a good exposure is important, couple with the use of creativity for composition will add the touch.

Try to shoot more and learn along the way. Cheerz.
