yup old cam... for an amateur like me its quite ok...
2 problems i encounter really will be slow access of CF card and also shutter speed |

I don't have 885, but have bought a CP4300 for my sis.
Con: 1. very slow write speed. Can't shoot continuously. After shooting 1 frame, have to wait for about 3s for the 2nd shoot. 2. Battery can't last long. Camera write speed becomes slower when batter weak. Pro: 1. Small, compact, sleek 2. Cheap, but 4MP (885 is 3MP) There is another CP 3xxx just announced. Cheap at RM13xx and is 3.1MP. |

The thing about slow write to CF. I wonder could it be the CF you guys use? Nikon bundle Sandisk & Lexar which are the slowest in the market. A good 16x/20x Ridata to 25x/30x Transcend might make a difference.
Agree CP885 is an old model. Maybe u want to check out the latest CP3100 (3.2MP)? ![]() |
