No no, he didn't rip off the pictures. ALL the pictures, every single one, are from Gary Fong's site. He also copied the phrase at the side, where the word "Lightsphere" still is.

Be HIP: honour intellectual property. I disagree with what this guy is doing, because 70% of the material on his page is ripped from Gary Fong's site - utter plagiarism, and absolutely disgusting.

If Gary Fong sues this guy...

and yea, i had seen the actual product today, it is a good copy of the lightsphere alright.. but the material seems abit 'harder' than the original.

seems like a sizable shipment of products came today, i also saw the cloud as well as the clear version with all 4 sizes available

oh yes, the pictures of the garyfong's product test shots are also printed on the packaging as well..

There is a difference between competition and plagiarism.

If you shoot your own product photos and demonstration photos, by all means go ahead; I don't mind. You rip off everything from an originator's page, label it with your own product's name, even print his demonstration photos on your packaging. That's a different story.

Haha, gotta love China for making cheap stuff. I refuse to pay 80 bucks for a stupid plastic orange juicer, and this seems like the ticket. Gary won't be able to reach this guy in China.
