Kenko Teleplus Pro 300 DG (1.4x) with AFS 70-200?

Can the above combination works esp the AF?

i have the tamron SP 1.4x which works perfectly w 70-200 and gives good results. on internet, ppl say that the tamron and the kenko is same think. so i guess it should work
