Default Sigma 28mm f2.8 MF test shots

I'm gald I bought this lens despite some negative feedback I recieved. Must thanks creampuff for allowing me to test it before I buy. It's sharp.

The shots are taken at f2.8, except the butterfly at f8.
In adobe raw, I'd up the exposure by 0-0.3 & the saturation by 28.
The cropped insert is 100% with no PP.
255,0.3,0 USM is applied on the resized image.

I'm not a wide-angle guy, so these may not be up to standard
Slightly postprocessed shots using the beautiful f2.8

Very nice shots, esp the macro, I like your macros.

Indeed looks sharp! And the DOF.. Drool. Maybe when I dabble in street photography I'll take up your offer! =)

Very nice photos by a cheap but excellent Sigma 28mm lens. If you prefer abit wider, the Sigma 24/2.8 macro is a great performer too

I like this PPed result. And thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the compliments. For wider vintage I'm targeting Tamron 17mm f3.5 or Sigma 15mm f2.8. Hope to find good deal for them
