You want to get 1 together? I need to keep 1 extra as spare.

Hi,
I bought mine from http://www.dc-battery.com.au/index.php The service is not ideal, i.e. you dont hear confirmation from them or receive a tracking no but I did get my replacement batt. You may wanna try it out! Cheers, Richard |

How is the performance of the 3rd party BLL-1 compared to the $240 Olympus one?

Yea these are third party batteries. Made in China/Hong Kong I think. I haven't tried it out yet so I really can't tell. How many shots can you squeeze out of an original Oly batt?
I'd imagine it may not be all that different? |

The original BLL-1 can go past 1000 in continuous shooting, 700 over shots for a day's shooting. |
