Is the door on the right with the words bistro of signigicance? If not, you could do away with it. This is just a snapshot to me... But good exposure control.

just wondering, because I'm debating between the 420EX and 550EX... how much diff is there in real use, power aside?

the Canon speedlite 420EX is specially recommended for the EOS30 but power of the flash cannot be compared to the 550EX.
One thing about why the 550EX is not really "good" as according to the many here, the 550EX CANNOT cover the 7 AF pts in the EOS30 body therefore only 5 pts across the screen are covered.

hi guys,
thanks for the info! wow, my Speedlite Reference guide from 1995 really looks antiquated now. I currently have a 540EZ for my EOS 1N... if all I want is plain ol' TTL flash and metering, with the fancy 2nd curtain sync, ETTL or other features... will this work on the 10D ? |
