    Default iPod Repairs

    Hi Peeps,

Recently my 2 year old iPod photo died on me. The HDD inside just died. Am thinking of changing the HDD, but wouldn't be doing at Apple. They said it's very expensive and adviced me to look for 3rd Party repair instead. Need to chang to a new HDD.

So I'm asking if anybody here has any experience fixing your iPod outside? Can advice how much and where? Thanks!

You can find replacement hard disks on eBay. Conventional ones won't work since the connectors are propietary.

Actually, just junk it and get a new or used one? A used one is probably cheaper than a new hard disk.
