Default South Africa - Colours of Life in Cape Town

This is the last part of the whole series that I'm posting on my South Africa trip. I hope you enjoy looking at my pics.

Life on a street close to the sunset hour.

Link-houses at the Bo Kaap Malay Quarter where most of the Malay people live. I was told by a Malay taxi driver that his ancestor was from either Malaysia or Indonesia.

A church at a junction.

One of the public buildings at the Company's Garden.

Another public building around the Company's Garden.

A church near the Green Market Square.

A batik seller at the Green Market Square.

Do all these batik paintings look familiar to you?

These are batik cloths with South African motifs.

If you do not fancy batik, how about some African masks for you?

Or maybe you wanna have a drum or two?

A very nicely painted Mini!

The wharfs at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront were converted into bars and restaurants.

A dry-dock which is still in operation at the V&A Waterfront.

Have you see a guitar made from engine oil tin?

Hi newman01, thanks for the compliments. These were mostly shot with D70s + 18-70mm kit lens + Tokina 12-24mm, pp using Paint Shop Pro.
