Any one knows which camera shops in Singapore can do the modification of Nikon lenses to AI lenses. If so, how much for a 28mm F3.5 lens and is it worth modifying it.

I've not done this for maybe 10 years, but back then Shriro (Nikon agent) did conversion for me for 28/3.5 and 24/2.8.
I think they stopped the service a few years back. |

Not sure who else does it now, but i did it myself for some of my lens including a 55, a 135
Simply do some easy calculations on how much to file, then measure. Using a drill file, work off most of the chunky parts and do the fine parts with a small file, then sandpaper. I believe some sec1 D&T syllabus covered that. |
