Very nice macros

So finally you got the Tamron 90 macro (instead of a Bigma) The flash seems to be abit harsh though. Did you use a diffuser on the flash?

Thanks. Used a bounch card. I forgotten the diffuser I'm still deciding on the Bigma or a ring I confirm need a macro lens, the $$ was set aside for a month+, finially I decided on Tamron 90mm last week

Oh ya, AF540FGZ really don't work well on P-TTL for macro. Think I'll need to get a bracket to get anything decent. Maybe a AF360FGZ as slave flash.

Thanks. It is because of macros I become quite tanned I find them interesting subject for photography, as you can't see their structure with naked eyes I'm always get little surprises when I get a tack sharp focus

lol do I look like one in person? SR is good for macro Too be fair any brand camera is good for macro with correct equipment I'd always say this Pentax is value for money

BTW still waiting for you to join Pentax family. I'll love to see what you can come out with using Pentax. I'm sort of a fan of your shots.

After practising with small insects, I found it easy to handle bigger one. These shots are taking one hand holding K10D+Tamron 90mm, the other hand holding the flash.

100% cropped with no pp

True 1:1 Macro

nice shots.
AF or MF? in some pic, the focus point a little bit off---I prefer clear eyes/head with a bit of depth of insects by macro.
