    Actually that depends on who u are u talking to.

    I know those who are in the lower level who earns less than 1.5K a month, they would leave just for a few more hundreds.

    But if u are talking to those who are earning like 10 + K a month, a few thousands... they might not even leave. They are the type that would stay just for job opporunities and of course if there is any... loyalty.

    Hmm... Yea... First we need to satisfy our basic need such as food. Perhaps if the company will bring in more good food stall around the office/workplace, workers will remind longer! This is true as my attachment company is very isolated. Food can only be found after a distant of walk...

    there isnt a standard mesurement to justify who is over perform and who is underperform.

    i am working for this "biggest" isp in Singapre ( you guess it). one of the manager is quite racist. Heard of KPI ? those skin color whose are different will get lower score.

    KPI = Key Performance Indicator?
    If that is, at least there is a "KPI" to benchmark u vs yr colleagues. I have seen some companies that do not have KPI, end of the year, the boss makes his own judgement on who get big payrise and who get promoted.
    So in your case, I guess "skin color" is one of the "KPI", if that is defined clearly then u cannot dispute.

    Interesting and important thread...

    No need to cut salary by 50%, just cut their bonus by 50%, you will see
    if money is the main retaining factor even for management staff.
    In some instances companies use this method for low performance employees.
