Understand that this feature is found on the S5 Pro.
What is the impact on the sensor if this feature is used too frequwently? Is there any documentation in the user manual?

The Live view function is mentioned in the user manual. Will check tonight on the contents. However, I need to go through the menu system in order to access the function.

Warning, minimise sensor on time. Set sleep to the shortest possible that you can. Keep camera away from heat (like in a car in the sun). I have been warned (by fuji) that the sensor death problem of the S2pro and some other earlier Fuji sensors is due to heating up. Actually, it is almost the same with any sensor, but just that Fuji's production seems to suffer more from this.
Live view only if you must. Also, if you keep the shutter open longer, more dust will get tot eh charged sensor, right? |
