Default Sony Alpha cannot make it when compared to Nikon/Canon?

Let's have some input from Sony Alpha users to be more informed.

I don't have Sony Alpha, but when I was looking for a prosumer, loads of people told me not to get Sony, Sony sucks, etc.

What bull. I'm loving my H2, and won't trade it for any other prosumer out there today, not even H7/9. =D

well..as for me..i was using sony all the way from f707..717..828...then wanter to jump to R1 ...but stopped n thought...might as well got for a dslr... nearly wanted to jump to canon 30D but alpha was to be launched soon...so decided to wait..tried at sony gallery ..and to me..not a bad cam..the only pinching matter is the LENS price if CZ... ...till now..ive no regrets abt alpha..above all..a GOOD lens does make the diff in your pics..

ITS A SONY!!!

Well, I would recommend Sony H-series.

Let's have a friendly debate on this!

Ugh. The Panasonic has visible ISO even at ISO 100. It's so sad how they have a fantastic lens but the rest just stinks.

imho all the noise are just overrated... you wil not see the noise from ISO 100 even 8R or even bigger print... even ISO400 is pretty good enough for most consumer who only do 4r print
