Hi, my images been showing a black dot (blurry kind of grey actually). I changed lenses and its still there. I tried the ccd cleaning on my d7d and its still there... Can I still send it for cleaning at minolta s/c? How much? Anybody!!!!??

is it still under warranty ? Sony will charge around few hundreds ... $70 is the service charge.. spare parts and workmanship will be charged otherwise.

how did you clean your ccd? very often the blower alone does not work on stubborn spots. you'd need to actually wipe it.

if you wear glasses, that may be another possibility

Can post a photo that shows the "black dot" ?

If you pixel peep the pixel at 100%, does the dot look like a square ?

Best is stop down, and shoot a white wall with MF...

If the dot becomes a sharp black dot, it's dust...

Blowing is safest but if that fails, it's either the service centre or hope you have steady hands and balls of steel to remove the dust with some kind of ultra soft brush...
