Hey out there,
seems that the camera when in shooting mode, shows the overlaid information, but no preview of the scene. as i depress the shutter: 1" F2.8 flashing after which it takes the photo and I end up with a black image. I'm thinking that it is either the sensor or shutter problem, and would like to check around here for some advice before I send it to Canon Service Centre.. Thanks In Advance! ![]() |

i have two canon powershots a95 which have problems recently and i sent them for repairs, both cost ~$124 to repair each and canon says its not the problem stated on their website.
1. the first one is LCD failure, horizontal black and white lines were seen on the screen and images captured all have the same problems, I have replaced the LCD panel at $123.90. 2. the second one they say lens shutter never open and problems with top cover. the pictures taken all are very dark. i traded it in for dslr. they refused to repair these cameras for me for free. i also wondered if i have been cheated. |
