Having had a pet at home for the last couple of months, I've been trying to get some good pictures of her. Unfortunately, haven't been having much success since I pretty much can't get her to do what I want. She doesn't like the camera and really hates the flash(she will hide under the car the moment I attach it). I currently have to bribe her with treats whenever I try shooting her and I have a tough time getting catchlights without the flash since I can't get her to sit still. Help me gurus!
These are some samples of what I've been getting. ![]() ![]() |

Try getting her into the sunlight for natural catchlights. I like the eye contact but try not to leave soo much space near the top. I think if you cropped off the top of the first shot it would look better
![]() Here is a crop suggestion. I can take it down if you wish. ![]() Last edited by raptor84; 14th April 2007 at 07:31 PM. Reason: added crop suggestion |

![]() Don't let them get too close to the lens. I'm still trying to clean doggie drool off my lens. Love the 2nd pic! |
