Steve Slater is the world's most annoying F1 commentator. Don't know why they keep giving him the gig year in, year out...

He can't. Thats why i think he is overrated. Massa is consistantly the faster guy but mistake prone. Kimi is slower but more consistant.

But both not great at overtaking.

    Delight for Ferrari.

1st win for Massa this season.

Kimi lost out because he got stuck behind Alonso until the first round of pitstops. Does it show that Ferrari didnt have the speed or Kimi not good at overtaking or Alonso good at defending....

Am impressed with Lewis Hamilton. He is too good for an F1 rookie. I think its a matter of time before we see him on the top step of the podium.

Almost 1 month break from F1. Until the next race ...

No one at the moment can match the retired Schumacher skills as most of them are still very young. When Schumancher first started and winning with Benetton Ford, he skills was somehow on par with the current drivers. Schumacher really started to shine only after 3 years with Ferrari as he virtually fine tune their car at the very best.

Still miss Schumacher a lot but my all time favourite is still the naturally talented Aryton Senna.........

Stand aside Alonso. Maclaren should make Hamilton as their no.1 driver. Great show from the Ferrari. Finally a mistake free race from Massa. The best part was of course seeing Nick overtake Alonso, ha ha.

This year is going to be very exciting. 3 races & 3 different winners. And a rookie driver with 3 podium finish. Stay tuned.....

I was thinking that K. Raikkonen will challenge for the win, especially since he mentioned that he was 'restricted' in Sepang.

I would think Massa is the quicker of the 2 Ferraris. In the last 3 races, Massa had been blisteringly quick in the qualifying rounds, just that he was unlucky in the 1st, and made 2 mistakes in the 2nd. The 3rd race was testimont to his pace. I think Kimi has not fully come to terms to his new car yet.

Bro kelccm, is right Melvin. Kimi won Australian season opener. So, I order to have 4 winners in 4 races, L. Hamilton will have to win! I can live with that!

It is acceptable provided Ferrari is 2nd and 3rd, with Alonso out of the points.

But then again, I still want a Ferrari to win.

    Go Ferrari Go!!!

Kimi, Alonso, and Hamilton are all tied at 22 points in the drivers' standings. This season's starting to look exciting!

After watching the race, I felt Kimi operates only in two modes: Ice or Fire. You can see this behaviour at the earlier part of the race after the safety car left. He was literally caught offguard (thinking about where to party later?), and then he lost his cool trying to make up for lost time and made even more mistakes. He still has a long way to go before he can execute precision strokes of the Maestro (Schumi).

It would be interesting to see how Hamilton and Alonso would fare in the Spanish leg. The fact that it's Alonso's home race, and how we babied the engine during the later part of the race, are obvious signs that he's going all out to win in front of his countrymen.

I hope Kimi gets used to the Ferrari car, and the bridgestone tyres earlier than his competition does!!

It seems that the Mclarens are just that little bit quicker when the tyres are cold. At the start of the race in Sepang, Massa lost out terribly at the first turn and in Bahrain, Kimi lost out to Alonso in the first lap. Based on analysis of the lap time, I believe that had Kimi not lost his position to Alonso, he would have the pace to match Hamilton in the lighter Mclarens and kept within striking distance and as he had fuel for several more laps after Hamilton had pitted, he would have surged ahead and come up in front after his pit stop.

Ferraris will have to do something about this and it is pointless to start from pole and lose out as soon as the race starts. I am sure they will get it right sooner rather than later. The next race won't be held for another month and we could see lots of changes and team orders in Barcelona. Will Ferraris still be the fastest? Probably but I am not so certain. Perhaps it will be the Mclarens and possibly the BMWs.

I suspect that too. You can see how quickly Hamilton picked up pace after the 2nd pit stop. Kimi was just about 2 seconds away, and already at full throttle when Hamilton's McLaren barely left the pit lane with fresh tyres. But after that very narrow window of opportunity, the gap widened to 4+ seconds.
