    Fungus don't grow overnight. Imagine those photographers who shoot in adverse weather.. Just need to clean it properly after use and keep in dry cabinet if you're not touching it for a while...

    Got 1 more suggestion here, use those small jap tea bag, can get from Daiso, $2 got 50 pieces kind.

    I put the silica gel in it and staple, then throw few bags in the bag.
    It works well for me.

    what for?

    if you want to prevent your camera bag gets molded, just air it, sun it, that's all you need.
    if you want to keep your camera and lens away from fungus, use dry cabinet.

    don't use camera bag to store camera and lens when you are not using them.

    i use those left over from Japanese Titbits and cookies and put them in my camera bag

    Those would get saturated in no time and would be ineffective.

    I use Ziplog Vegetable Bags.
    Plenty of holes.
