Aiyo, all stalk up the guy loor. If he does that again, don't catch, tailgate him to his home / hideout.

Next time, we lay ambush at his hideout, so when we try to catch him, he runs then find that everyone is waiting at his home doorstep. Hehehe . Someone get the baseball bat.

I saw quite a few units install their windows into "2 level" type. i.e. u can slide open the top 1/2 without opening the bottom 1/2. This will prevent most people from looking in at eye level.

Another type is the 1/4 top hinge open type with 3/4 sliding below. So u just open the upper 1/4. This will provide more privacy.

    I know!

TS, install a video camera facing the corridor. Next time when you see him coming, quickly grab a borrowed Rottweiler and hold it at the window after spanking it on the butt a few times.

If he comes back again, he must really like the Rottweiler, just give it to him then.

We initially thought the half cloth is effective, until yesterday when the perv just hold up his HP and shoot from above.

This morning we derived a new method to cover it. We just use a translucent cloth with pattern (over several layers) to cover the ENTIRE window. We use cloth pegs to secure it along the window grill so there's no way the perv can slide it sideways like how they did it to the poor curtains. And this cloth also allow wind into the room, and light is diffuse too.

I'm gonna catch the perv red-handed one day.

Well this one really extreme! Mmmm tried installing a "Fake" camera? Put those small cctv type camera you can buy at Sim Lim and install it in a very obvious position. Tends to scare pervs away.

    I can suggest roman blinds.
Its a kind of curtains with full piece of cloth, just that they got the wood slabs in btw to fold the curtains when u pull the lever upwards.

But roman blinds are not cheap. ANd hard to wash.
Ur gf is sensitive to dryness of cold air? I got sensitive nose too, but I also install air con because of perverts. I just spend more money to see ENT specialist.

The pervert actually throw a bra, a pair of panties and a pair of socks into my room. We call the police to investigate and they actually kept all the ermm...evidence of harrasment.
In the middle of the night, I can even hear the guy trying to climb up by grabbing the window grills to peep. Thing is, I'm a light sleeper so the moment I hear sounds, I wake up. I once woke up in the middle of the night to chase that bloody pervert but cannot catch up.

My mother put lots of potted catus and in btw, some joss paper metal container around so that when he climb, he will lose footings and create a din when the metal container got knocked.

I can tell u, this person that disturb ur gf must be from the same block or he has already seen ur gf before...if not maybe neighbours.

    hahaha, i have evil idea,

connect the power source to the window grill , once u see the pervert , either manually on the power source or install the motion dectector.

    OT a bit ,

a unit in my block put up a notice to inform the residents that some 1 actually threw **** off the window and it landed on the neighbour's newly wash clothes. this is inaddition to previous round of stuff like dark soya sauce, cigs, leftover food.

any idea as to how to tackle such situations?

Wow looks like you've encountered much more terrified things than my gf.. We are thinking of getting some big and tall potted plants to put out there, so that they can't get close enough to the window.

I suspect the perv is from the same block. My gf said that quite some time ago, when she came out of the lift, someone at her lift lobby actually told her to be careful as many people are 'looking at her'. Somehow I feel that he is (one of) the perv; But my gf forgot how he looks like already.
In fact, her sis-in-law also said that there was one time this very studious, decent guy who came up to my gf house and ask to look for 'the girl in the room'.. but I think these type (now all though) are abit something wrong up there.

he obsessed is it? some pple got mental illness that manifest in a form that they will kepp stalking ard their target. hey, if she goes home alone late or at non peak hours, must get someone to wait for her, dun wonder ard alone.

Usually its someone who is stays close enough to the target or actually know the target in person will do this kind of act. Cos it is no fun to do so to a total stranger as there is no means to. Only when he knows the exact routine of their target well, then they will come up with these tricks.

I once met with a flasher at the bottom of my lift when I was home after my poly prom with my fren. He flash it at us and run off....my father went after him with a bamboo pole but he got away..some how of rather perverts can run very fast

ur gf sis in law can make a report if he comes n look for the gal in the room again....so daring!!!!!! *******!

Very easy, got 2 methods must combine to make it work effectively.

    1) Install a video camera. Position it at where ppl are walking, so that any peep that tries to slip his hand thru the grills to crop a feel or look, would be recorded, face, actions and all.

    2) Take 2 ends of a thick copper wire. Wire the grill up at 2 discrete points, insert 1 wire into the Live Point and the other wire into the Neutral Point of the AC adapter. Switch it on. Anyone's hands going thru will get zapped. Take special note not to lean on the grill.

Kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

Shldn't have chased him away, shld have lured him closer and socked him in the balls or twist his balls right out.
