Call all the shops every day to check if it is out? Sure sure....

But I prefer people who come across this lens at the shops to post here of their discovery, if that is ok with you. Thanks.

I called Sigma's office. Lens is supposed to be in this month, but no news as yet. They can't confirm when it would be arriving, nor the retail price.

in this case the max aperture is f5.6 (nikon) vs 6.3 (sigma)

if the sigma retails for say sgd$500 however...that could be a gd buy..haha...

nonsense, sigma's aperture @ 400mm is also f/5.6. f/6.3 is the bigma.
