If you are female, I think you should just send some knights down first. At most they get ears pulled by wife. Not very safe for girls leh.

Then we will send another explorer down into the deep dark cave of Geylang.

    Until we get a returner.

Juz wondering what's the theme, the temples and association buildings, the coffeeshops, the fruitstalls or the "red lights" activities.

If you're for the last activities, then, I suggest you shoot from inside a car, like a sniper, in full camouflage gear. Got to shoot and flee, just in case those underworld controllers come stopping you.

Gear required: At least a 300mmF4 and set you cam to ISO1600 or higher if possible. And continuous burst, up to 5fps.
I love big car, big house, big lenses, but small apertures.

At least you are lucky enough when someone asked you "politely."

Some kakis of mine isn't so lucky.
few years back, they took out the roll of film........

You resist, they throw camera on the floor.

If really wanna shoot, better ask someone whose occupation is a POLICEMAN!
    Very safe one.

as mentioned, just be sensitive and keep your wits. it's still singapore anyway, how bad can it get in broad daylight. furthermore there are those security cam's in strategic locations.
