And oh...a bigggggg upzzzzzz for the generous MOD!!

    This is great coz:

    A) it encourages all the not so nice oldies here to be nice to newbies (trust me I have seen some really nasty ones and always wondered why some people cannot be humble & welcoming..it's such a fun friendly forum after all) AND

    B) we get a actual session with the gurus! (nervous yet excited)

    Cheers.

Sometimes it is better to lose and do the right thing than to win and do the wrong thing.

You mean DSLR owners are not allowed? But there are DSLR users that are really newbies right? It does not mean that holding DSLR automatic become experts.

Let's move on, I have given my reasons. This thread is not meant to debate on such issues.
I initiate this session and surely I have the rights to set the conditions.

    Thank You

i believe the mod really want to help those that is really fresh and need to know some basics that they somehow couldn't grasp after reading.

i guess it is just a rough gauge to keep the group small if response is too good.

for PE. Glad to see more and more of these free courses and guides to help the newbies.

For those not so newbies, search for outing treads and learn from the groups. It helps and I have learnt lots from outings.

Cheers to PE for the good causes

Oh. I apologise if I sounded rude. Well it is really great that someone is willing to put in such efforts to help newbies. Just felt that DSLR newbies usually need an extra hand more. Sorry. And cheers.
