Hi Eyesthruthelens, thanks! glad u found them to your liking
Hi MooneyedWileECoyote, glad u like them too. the DRO is set to std and ya, there are some pp done, a bit of cropping and usually some slight adjst abt 5% to 15% on the brightness, contrast and saturation. otherwise, its really the alpha doing a great job. a real gem for a cam ![]() |

TheRock, actually if u wan to ensure fast focus and lock on, can try (if on focus area selection AF) ur central sensor focus on "lines" in the viewfinder...usually can lock focus. thats my experience with my 5d. with a100, IIRC, the focus actually wasn't too bad, a lot better than 5d. sure the kit lens (was that the lens u tried?) is not a G lens, but it still focuses pretty snappy.
with a good lens like 80-200 HS apo g, it gets violently fast ![]()

i'm using the 50mm prime lens so i just opened up the lens a large aperture value such as 1.4 to 2 to make sure that i can a good exposure with the ambience light without camera shake. Of course, the anti shake came in real handy for indoors shoot like this without flash. As for the focus speed, it was really good with this set prime lens but i do find that it can get a bit slow when i used my sony 18-200mm/f3.5-6.3 lens at the long zoom end. |

What lenses were used? You are just comparing camera bodies, not the lenses that were used. IMHO you should stick to simple point-and-shoot cameras since you cannot comprehend how important lenses are.
