Montage is back again for the 9th year running...

The conventional call-for-entries style is retained in the Open Category Competition. The theme for Open Category is “The Unforgotten”.

The reason for selecting this theme is because the Society believes that many people no longer appreciate the past. Through this year’s Montage, the Society hopes to generate awareness amongst the participants that the past is not to be forgotten, but rather the past should be “unforgotten”, i.e. cherished.

Unlike the previous Montage competitions, this year encourages the active participation from the youths. Instead of allowing them to submit photos from their personal library, this time round they will have to hunt for their photos within a day. The participants will go around Singapore and use their talents and creativity to take photos which fit the theme of the competition.

The theme for Youth Category will be somewhat similar to the main theme. But the actual theme will only be released on the Montage Official Website on 25 May 2007, 6pm (eve of the competition).

Nope.
If you are aged 25 and below, you can choose either the Youth category or the Open category but NOT both.

if you're referring to the competition, it's FREE
if you're referring to the seminar, details will be out at a later date.

P.s. the organisers are currently mugging for our exams. so more details will be out after our exam period. In the meantime, do post your enquiries. We are happy to answer them at. (Though it doesn't help in our exam grades )

To all our fellow participants for the Open Category of Montage 2007,

A few people have feedback that there is problem with the photo submission website.
The organising committee is aware of such problem and we are trying to fix them.
However, due to the fact that it's now our exam period, the problem will take some time to be fixed.

The organising committee would like to seek the co-operation from all participants.

Once the problem is fixed, we'll announced it again.
Do be patient with us.

thanx for e info. will fix this asap in abt 2 weeks from now. our web admin, n e rest of us, are kinda 'lost' in our own world of mugging. will update this thread one the bugs on e website are fixed.

btw, seminar tickets will b on sale on 1 may onwards. $10 (student) / $12 (adult) per ticket.
school package: 10 student tickets + 1 adult ticket = $100 only.
