Default Sunrise Changi Style

Sun-chasing is becoming so very addictive. =)

Went with espion this morning, I personally thought it was a lovely sunrise.

In chronological order:

#1
(When it was still dark, used Fluorescent WB for this one)

#2
Right before:

#3
One with the other guy in it =D (well his silhouette anyways)

#4
And the sun unveiled itself like an Afghan bashful bride

#5
In full splendour

#7
Staring at the sun

#8
And a crab stared so long it rolled over and died

[Just kidding, this was taken later]

There is no best 'place', actually, it's just the location you decide to plant yourself at, and you have to look for vantage points, etc which work. But if you're the sort who likes having elements in their sunrise photos, might want to try nearer to the Changi Village hawker centre part. There's this funny tree there (where I took the photo of the dead crab, can PM me for clearer instructions because I'm feeling very lazy) which has been used by many forumers here for sunset. I'm thinking sunrise is possible too. But it might be a little dangerous as you'd possibly have to stand on this whole mound of rocks which are not all stable.

The place where I took mine from wasn't too shabby if you ask me. Direct view of the sun, not like the OTHER Changi Beach. It is located near Changi Naval Base, not very accessible by public transport, so best if you have a car.

One thing I have learnt after the recent sunset/sunrise chasing sprees is that not every sunrise sunset will be nice. So it is best to be prepared for some disappointment.. =)

I know, I also shot there once before. Actually not very convenient for me also, that place needs a MRT station.

Wait, if there's a MRT station it means that all your beaches will be full of funny people who will force themselves as silhouettes into your sunrise/sunset shots. Which is what happens at ECP sometimes.
