Question AF DC Nikkor 135mm f2

hey just got a lens for AF DC Nikkor 135mm f2 ... hmmm ... the instruction on the manual is quite brief ... so is there any one of u own this lens and can instruct on the Defocus Control and how to obtain a sharp pic w/o bluring the back and the foreground by using the DC ring? ...

You supposed to intentionally blur either the background or foreground by using the DC ring. The amount of defocus achieved also depends on the aperture that you are using.

I suppose if you set the DC ring to the 0 (or centre) position, you are turning of the defocus effect, that is if you want normal sharp pics...

u mean turn the DC ring to the centre (0), it will result in normal sharp pics lah ...
