Question Possible to attach the flash on a leg of my tripod?

I think there is a boom or something available...I'm not too sure....

or you could make one yourself. =)

depends how heavy your flash is, there is the wimberley plamp (for small flash), or manfrotto super clamp (heavier setup) or using a gorrilla pod and mount on another tree...

the Nikon SB800 comes with a base that allows the flash to be attached to a tripod. Not sure if that is what you want.

SB600 also comes with the AS-19, if that's what you wanted to say. But the thing is, I believe the TS wants to mount if on the foot of the tripods and use the tripod for BOTH the camera and the flash.

This will probably be a home fix it project. You can either mount a AS-19 permanently to the foot of the tripod or connect it in some other way.

    rubberbands is your solution...

there is a slightly more expensive alternative to rubberbands, but its also some kind of elastic band thingy with a ball at the end. Saw it on the strobist website...

Don't want sync cord? Only way is to have a wireless trigger mounted on your hotshoe. For the rich, no problem. Heh. Just buy pocket wizards. Or... check if your camera's built-in flash supports commander mode.
