Default AF-S 70-200mm f2.8G VR lens Available!

I have received confirmed information from a source that there will be limited sets of the above mentioned named lens for sale at the Nikon booth at the IT Show at Suntec City on 13th - 16th March, Convention Hall 4.

The sale will be in conjunction with Harvey Norman, and as a result their usual sales packages, such as 0% installment options, will be available.

Good luck getting your set - get there early!

Arrgh!!!! Just when I'm broke! The lens has been reviewed by many; just visit DPReview... Much better than the 80-400 VR lens. Guess I will have to wait for the second batch to buy later...

You can ask the clubsnappers who own it to post test shots.
Maybe the owner(s) will use them handheld to take group shots at the SEED tonite

wasn't referring to watcher - so there are a few 70-200 VR owners on clubsnap already. Nikon users join Canon users to help the economy! (and the 2nd hand market)

Sigh....temptation you bet.

Harvey Norman!! Price going to be way above what you possibly can get at the local AP/CP etc (market rate and all)
So you'll be pay a huge premium, but guess for the 1st mover...that is the price to pay.

Ok, you can read the various informal review in the Nikon SLR forum pages. You can also search for some other much more professional and exhaustive reviews announced there as well. Sorry if I gave the impression that Phil Askley did the review; he did NOT.
