Faint, I would rather buy from Hongkong and send to here via post. cost would less than $2800.

Who's using this lens already, and how much did you pay for it? from where?

I did see a couple of AF-S 80-200 over at Prime Camera so i guessed just as much that this lens is out.

Hey, guys, I wrote RRP (Recommended Retail Price), not the discounted price.

By the way, does 12,000HKD cover international warranty? Sounds cool, may drop by next month.

For more information about this lens, you can check it from here:
http://www.cameraunion.net/forum/sho...hreadid=141643
The guy who bought this lens is one of my friends in HK. He wrote some reviews of it.

BTW, this is a Chinese photography forum, so you should be able to read Chinese. And it is a little bit difficult to connect that website bcoz too many ppl on it in the evening.

Larry, accurate price from Hong Kong HK$11800 - HK$12000. My Hong Kong colleague check the price for me as per this afternoon from some shop in Hong Kong. But only managed to see one from a shop in WAN CHAI, unless my colleague smoke me which I do not think so. This price range more or less accurate. The last time she bought for me the Nikon 80-200mm about $120.00 cheaper than CP quote me.

I think besides Digital stuff, all items should come with international warranty.

One of my friend bought this lens from John 3:16 for $3,200 but only one unit available. I was quite happy when he invite me to try his new toy at MacRithcie Reservoir, he did comparison between his 70-200VR + 2x TC20EII against my 80-400VR at 400mm end handheld. I am still waiting for the result and his comment.

My impression of the 70-200VR is light, fine crasftman for a G lens, and the AF blazing fast.

Thinking to sell my 80-200f2.8 and 80-400VR to get this lens but the price still very unstable.

Great, thanks. Let me know which shop it may be in HKG. Just called a friend there and he told me Nikon is very low stock, any news from your side by chance?

Knighthunder, the price your friend got it from John is good, is it a local warranty set from Nikon Singapore?
