CP - $2450
MS - $2400 (there about)
Tested both mark1 and mark2 today, actually cannot tell the diff in terms of image quality. I will post up the pics when I have the time.

Mark 1 now going at about $1850 (CP)

Am in HK right now and the price is more expensive then in SG even with GST. Strange but true.

I think Canon Singapore has realised that people are going overseas to buy Canon product. So now they are pricing their items more realistically, so that their sales will not get affected that badly. But this is good news to us!

New lens comes up costing almost 2,500 bucks and people can't wait to grab ....
And I thought long and hard for my second hand 17-40L and 10-22 which together cost me 1,900 - even then some of my friends who use Canon DSLRs were oohing and aahing at my 17-40L cos they use $400 lenses. Then you have to buy 82mm filters $$$$.

Well, I can't get myself to get a 16-35 II.

Those who can, enjoy it!!

i don't think 82mm filters are a lot more expensive than 77mm. At least, not in Spain
