Default Carrefour Battery Chargers

Anyone has experience with Carrefour in-house branded battery chargers?

They go for $39.90 (with 4 x 2300 AAs) and the packaging seems to suggest that they are 15-minute chargers. Would appreciate if anyone can confirm if this is indeed the case, as the info on the packaging is not very detailed. Also does not state if different rated batts can be charged simultaneously.

Any info would be much appreciated as the price seems quite attractive...or are they better value products out there?

Thanks in advance!

guess that true 15-mins chargers dun exist ... usually 15 mins for those rated 1600 or 2000 AA ... if yours is the latest 2700 AA batteries, it may take up to 45mins or 1 hr to fully charge ...

anyway, depends on you, already my "15-mins" charger is much faster than the previous one I had which charges overnight ...

There should not be any problems charging different rated batteries together

EastGear is selling PowerEx travel charger at $39 as well, comes with four 2700 batteries.

It's 1 hour for 2 batteries, 2 hours for 4, but has battery conditioning, etc.. Might want to consider?

Based on manual, should be.

1 hour quick charge for AA battery > 2000 mAh. It's pretty fast. I had fun conditioning all of my batteries.

@ paradigm: Battery conditioning = fully drain batteries before recharging them. Something to do with memory effect, you'd have to ask the tech geeks. The real ones, anyways.
