just to check is the kingston elite pro (4gb) fast enough for 5D shooting on burst in RAW and jpeg?

or would there be a need to get the ULTRA II and EXTREME III?

You will experience buffer full with that card.....(if you burst)

The sandisk ultra II card is faster compare with kington elite pro. You may wan to consider sandisk extreme III firstly becoz it is faster and secondly it come with a recovery software so just in case your card dies on you, you still can retrieve some of your precious image.

well, the sandisk will outperform the kingston anytime really.
