My company task me to look for a camera under $1000 for company's event and general shooting. The best together with tripod.
I thinking of Fujiflim Finepix S9600 which cost $800+ and buy cheap tripod to make up $1000. I think S9600 able to do the job as it had a good review. Any better recommandation. I need your help, thanks. ![]()

(which you don't really need that kind of standard for S9600. You can buy a cheap tripod and a external flash for ceiling bounce, which would be more helpful.

Too bad it's for the company. For personal use an entry-level DSLR (2nd hand) will be much better at 1000.
