Camera mounting plate

How do you all tighten the screw of the mounting plate to the camera/lens?

I am using coins at the moment but thin it's not so good.

The screw is a hexangol nut with a screw groove on it.

I think teh spelling is correct.

Howevere, there is no allen key hole on it..
