I like this series.
It's not always an easy task to decide on how slow the shutter speed to use to get the effects you want, considering the speed of the movement, how far you're shooting from and what focal length you use. Last edited by Clockunder; 3rd April 2007 at 11:10 PM. |

I must agree this series is even better than the previous post.
Great use of slow shutter to display the movement. I enjoy them, thanks for sharing. |

![]() Yeah its not easy to decide on the shutter speed.. its half trial-and-error and half pre-empting...Different genre of dances will need different shutter speed... 1/20 or even 1/13 might be enough for #1 #2 #3 #4, but might be too slow for faster moving dances... |

Very nice series... can really feel the energy from the motion blur...
My only complain would be that the photos posted here are too small Congratualations ![]()

Thanx ylsx, nmss_2, renegade150 Mr PRO
, Jia Wang and ahsosl1e8. ahsosl1e8: My humble setup--> Konica Minolta Dynax 5D plus Sigma 70-200 f2.8 EX. Yes a tripod was used, but most of the time the tripod was acting more like a monopod...or pivots of sorts. I left the ballhead loose. |
