Nikon D200 price at SLS

The price of a new Nikon D200, without local guarantee, quoted by a shop in Sim Lim Sq is $2k.
It is a good buy?

but but new one recently is selling around $2150

was last quote that price quite sometime ago.

2k flat with warranty? if it is then is a very good buy.

pls read is w/o local warranty .. is a grey set

warranty set is about $22xx

ahh.. my bad, in tat case then its not a good buy at all. D200 W/battgrip can be had from lords for $2380 w/gst as of feb07, now maybe lower perhaps?

When I shopped for my D80 at SLS, I asked for a quote on D200 and was told $21xx with local warranty ... so grey at $2K, not worth. IMHO

i bet tat shop is orient photo rite? they offer 1yr shop warranty. still consider grey set. i wont go for it. for dslr, safer to for local set, got peace of mind.

Nah ... a very trusted shop which most CSers recommend

. Think must really haggle for it ... for me, I know someone there.

This is the "RECOMMENDED RETAIL PRICE" that you can find in Nikon SG's website... So for those thinking of getting from Courts/ Harvey, dun need to go there ask for price. Just go Nikon's website to see...

SkyesTang is selling D200 local set for SG $ 2120 nett...probably the best price atm.
