    Default Photoshop software

    i just found out that photoshop software costs $900, why is it so expensive? Anyone can recommend a cheaper software?? where to buy? thanks

    why not consider the baby version -- elements... 90% of the father

    and it cost below 150 dollars with your student card

    amang the 10% difference, which is imt to me is a 'real curve' as opposed to a 'simple curve' -- and this simple curve is only available in the latest ver. of elements...

    place to buy with student card... various shops in funan it mall

    but you have to scout around because they don't stock plenty student versions

    u can try out gimp, a free software, which has almost all the features of ps
    but maybe a little difficult to use.

    yes, it's an alternate

    free, no matter how difficult to use, also must learn

    I'm using Elements, got it free when I bought E500.
    Is good enough for many enhancement stuffs. Very happy with it.

    Because photoshop is a software for professionals, and if you're not a professional and would like to work like one, you'll just have to pay for it.

    It's just like a PnS user asking, why is dSLR so expensive?
    The difference between Microsoft Paint and Adobe Photoshop is just like the difference between a cheap PnS and dSLR.

    it's not an olympus specific product. in fact, it cant read olympus raw files.

    Challenger still selling OEM vesion of PS Elements 5.0 for $49 (member price). There are still a few copies left at Challenger IMM at the payment counter the one further in from the entrance. I don't know if it's available in other branches.
