Default Copyright issue... abit blur here...

Hmm wondering about the copyright over here...

Suppose if i wrote a manual book to use the stuff i have designed.

Then sold to a middle man, who is in turn going to sell to another person.

Then he ask me to replace my company cover to their company cover... which means effectively i lost the copyright...

Wonder if its the right way or not... or they should use my manual as draft and redo...

Get them to put inside the manual something like

    Copyright 2007 [Your Company name]
    Licensed by [Their company name]

    Something like that maybe ?

negotiate for a fee lor, and put a line of words in your product, manual & packaging "design and manufacture for so and so by DCA"

It depends on what your sales guys negotiated with them and what you're paid for.
are you selling the stuff under your name or his name (making you the OEM)
If it is being sold under his name, it's only right that the manual should bear his logo.

Example: Lexus is manufactured by toyota, shares the exact same body as the Camry, You don't expect a Toyota Camry manual in your Lexus right?
