Sigma 10-20 or Pentax 12-24

Any opinions on the Sigma 10-20 or the Pentax 12-24? I want something wide.

Also, it would be useful if you could tell me recent prices

Never held a Sigma 10-20 before but read some good and bad things about it. Tried the Pentax 12-24 in store, along w/ the DA14. Personally I like the DA14 better (actually I had one for a while). But zoom lens does come in handy sometimes. Optically I guess these are all great lenses w/ the edge goes to Pentax (SMC coating, low distorsion, sharper?), and QuickShift is a very good feature (for all Pentax DA lenses).

I'd go w/ the Pentax 12-24 if choosing between these two. Given other options, I'd choose Pentax 10-17 fisheye It's a fun lens to use, just personal taste.

Local price for the Pentax 12-24 is between 1100 to 1200 SGD I think.
The Sigma 10-20 is priced just a tad lower than 900 SGD from here:

After sold the DA14/2.8, I now fell in love w/ the DA10-17 FE

I agree fisheye lens are just I believe there's one in buy/sell now A real good deal of $650

wanted to get wide angle today but got turned off by the price
