Lightbulb Photography for books

Hi I wish to seek help about charges again.. More so on release of copy rights for publication of book. I have a client who wish to produce his own book, on art pieces he has collected.
basically about 150 images in the book. So how do i charge for the licensing/ release of copyrights? does he pay me or I should charge his publisher? how to negotiate? how to explain and justify my charges? I will appreciate any info/help. Thank you everyone in advance.
