Hi,
I was there this evenning. Taken some shots just to share. Hope to get some comments from those experience photographers. Anything from exposure , composition, color tone, framming etc would be welcome. (1) first I saw this bird, so I took a few shots. Then I realised 200mm is far too short...sigh! (2) I was walking around, looking for a better spot for taking sunset shots. And I went up the observation tower. (3) I also went under the bridge. (4) When I was standing around, this boat came by, I thought it should be interesting to take a shot against the reflection of the sun. (5) Then the sunset began.... Hope you enjoy, and suggestion please. thanks first! Last edited by CT 3833; 26th March 2007 at 10:24 PM. |

Hi,
would anyone share with me, what is the assured wy to meter the bird? I used spot, meter the head, AE lock. Is that correct? Share two more shots taken at Kranji River at the end of Choa Chu Kang area. Last edited by CT 3833; 31st March 2007 at 09:58 PM. |

hmmm ....
the bird's grayish ? then you'll probably get pretty spot on exposure. However, the sun's pretty strong on it, so you may get under exposure. But, all these are just guessing. Another way is to bracket your shots. +/- 1 to 1.5 stops should get you the shot. my 2c. ![]() |

there's no correct way else we'll a button tat say "Bird"...
bracket if u find uncomfortable.with digital photography (i assume you are using one), if it's not overly over or under exposed, corrections can be easily done at post processing.
